WRF Model Analysis

This is the central location for all information about the WRF model run by NCAS and the analyses that can be done with the data.

Model Details:

  • The model is run every day with a starting time of midnight and forecasts 72 hours ahead.
  • Initialised with GFS data in the outer domain
  • Run on 3 Nested Domains
  • Horizontal Resolution: 800m
  • Map of Model Grid Points
